In a sense I hate making new friends, because that means forming a new bond. With a new bond comes trust and a possible close relationship forming, to the point of being called “best friends”. Eventually I’ll come to realize I no longer mean much to that person anymore, and I’ll be left to wonder, “How did that happen?”
